Another Day, Another Successful Event!

Today we had our second annual Lavender Wreathmaking Class here at Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm and ever

The wreaths that everyone made were honestly incredible, the varied use of strawflowers and other seasonals around the specialty cut flower field made each wreath individual and impressive all on their own! I mean aren’t these wreaths beautiful?

Let’s not forget the wonderful breakfast spread Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm put together for everyone to enjoy while making their wreaths! Everyone agreed it was definitely a Santa Barbara County event to remember!

And for musical accompaniment we had Grady DiPietro on the solo Spanish Acoustic Guitar and well, his music speaks for itself.

Ever since the Solvang Fireworks Festival to celebrate Independence day, interest in Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm has shot through the roof! Many Santa Barbara locals came out and were blown away by what they learned about all the events we have going on this July.

With tickets for the Lavender Wreathmaking class almost full we wanted to remind everyone that our main event of the Living the Lavender Lifestyle Month, the Farm to Table Dinner is right around the corner!

This dinner will be the crowning jewel of the month, the food will be done by the executive chefs at SY Kitchen and Nella's, wine will be done by Melville Winery, and we will be having a Spanish acoustic guitar performance by Grady DiPietro. The night is being put on in partnership with the Allan Hancock College Rodeo team, who will be doing outreach and participating in the dinner.

This celebration in the field is the culmination of all of our efforts working at the farmstand, and we hope you can get your tickets before they’re all gone, this event is one you are NOT going to want to miss!

Lavender Wreathmaking Class July 15th! Get Your Tickets Soon!

Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm just doesn’t stop with all the great events in the Living the Lavender Lifestyle Month! Up next, is our first public Lavender Wreathmaking Class for the summer!

If this wreathmaking class in anything similar to last year’s class, it is certain to be one of the best events in the Santa Barbara County area, just look at some of the pictures from last year!

Hurry and get your tickets fast if you want to be a part of our July 15th class, we only have a few spots left! If you can make it to the class on the 15th, we will be hosting another class on the 23rd of July as well, and if you can’t make EITHER class, we also offer private classes as well, keep in mind we need 1 weeks notice to make sure your private class by the farmstand will be just as wonderful as the public classes! Wow, That Yoga Class Was Special!

Julia the yoga instructor from TheBloomingEnergy wellness studio put ona really special yoga class yesterday here at Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm!

Be ausr all of the participants were of varying degrees of experience, Julia did a pretty relaxed 1 hour beginner class followed by a 15 minute meditation period, everyone thought Julia did an amazing job leading the class and we wholeheartedly agree!

After the class, we invited the class to participate in a High Tea that the Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm family prepared, it was alot of work but it was worth it hearing from everyone how amazing the set up was!

Let's not forget the handcrafted salami roses Denise did for the charcuterie platter, thanks for the help on making those Youtube!

When all was said and done, everyone agreed they couldn't think of a better weekend summer activity in Santa Barbara County now, which was immensely flattering, thanks so much to all our new friends who took the time out on a Sunday to give our little farm a chance!

Ribbon Cutting a Rousing Success!

Thanks so much to Buellton Chamber of Commerce for putting on the Ribbon Cutting for Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm, it was an incredible event on an incredible day in Santa Barbara County!

Everyone loved the charcuterie board we made special for today along with our fresh made lavender lemonade! The complimentary lavender bundles were just as amazing, they surely were the talk of the farm!

Yoga and High Tea Tomorrow!

July 9th is an exciting day here at Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm, we are hosting our first ever Yoga and High Tea In The Field as a part of our Living the Lavender Lifestyle Month!

Our Yoga Instructor for the day, Julia from The Blooming Energy yoga studio in Lompoc is super excited for the class, and we can't wait to show off our salami roses! Which certainly pairs well with our fresh made Lavender lemonade !

Don't worry if your in the Santa Barbara County area but didn’t get a ticket in time, we will still have the front field and the farmstand open to the public from 10am - 4pm.

Yoga & High Tea Tickets Closing Soon!

Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm’s incredibly excited for our first ever ticketed event to kick off the summer, Yoga & High Tea on the farm! As the month of July slowing creeps along, the lavender is starting to really brighten up, looks like we’re going to have an amazing Yoga class on Sunday!

We’ve been counting down the days here at Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm until the start of our Living The Lavender Lifestyle Month, and now that its right around the corner, even our farmstand is starting to hum with anticipation of all the fun to be had this weekend, starting with Friday with our Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Celebration with the Buellton Chamber of Commerce!

Be sure to get your tickets for the Yoga & High Tea by Friday, registration closes July 7th so be sure to get your tickets before then, you don’t want to miss out on what’s sure to be the most fun on a lavender farm in Santa Barbara County!

Ribbon Cutting To Start Off The Month 💐

With July well on it's way, it’s Living the Lavender Lifestyle Month here at Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm!

We will be kicking off the sweltering Santa Barbara County summer with several fun events on the farm to beat the heat, starting with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony put on by the Buellton Chamber of Commerce July 7th! Free refreshments and lavender bundles will be provided to all attendees who wish to be apart of our grand opening celebration, we hope to see you there!

Unfortunately we will not be open on the 4th of July, instead we are taking the farmstand on the road and setting up shop in Solvang at their July 4th fireworks celebration be sure to stop by there and see us if you were planning on stopping by the farm July 4th, we hope to see you there or at all the other fantastic events we have available on our website.

July's A Busy Month!

With July just around the corner it’s time for Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm to for another post about all the exciting events in the Living the Lavender Lifestyle Month!

We will be starting the season with a ribbon cutting event on July 7th with Buellton Chamber of Commerce to welcome in the Santa Barbara County Lavender season, refreshments will be provided so be sure to stop by to celebrate our official summer opening!

The day after on July 8th will then be our first event of the season, a Yoga class and High Tea in The Field! Julia the yoga instructor at The Blooming Energy Yoga Studio In Lompoc will be teaching the class with an amazing High Tea catered by Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm!

We have plenty of other events to choose from all throughout the month of July, check out our events page for more details, but if you're unable to participate in one of our events, don't worry, we will be open all throughout the lavender season everyday except Tuesday from 10am-5pm, so be sure to stop by the farmstand then to not miss out on the splendor of the lavender in full bloom!

Another Great Festival!

Yesterday Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm went to the Santa Barbara Lavemder Festival at the Old Mission, and boy was that a blast!

As always, Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm had the most beautiful booth in all of Santa Barbara County, and boy were we packed!

Dont't worry if you missed us at the Lavender Festival, we will be open Monday June 26th, so be sure to stop by the farm stand to pick up your fresh lavender bundle while we still have them!

Closed June 24th for Santa Barbara Lavender Festival

With the Santa Barbara Lavender Festival right around the corner, we here at Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm are incredibly excited to be participating again this year!

Last year's festival was our first event we ever did as a farm and this year's Santa Barbara Lavender Festival held at the Old Mission in Santa Barbara County is sure to be even better!

Unfortunately all hands will be needed for the event in Santa Barbara, so we will be closed June 24th, but don't worry, we will be open Friday, June 23rd and Sunday and Monday the 25th and 26th , so be sure to stop by the farmstand then!

Event Showcase: Yoga in the Lavender field & Afternoon Tea

July 9th is just around the corner, so it’s time to remind everyone about our Yoga in the Lavender field & Afternoon Tea event held right here at Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm!

Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm has partnered Julia from Blooming Energy Yoga Studio in Lompoc to put together an amazing activity for locals and out of towners alike! Julia is a former criminal defense attorney in her native country of Venezuela. After seven years of practice, she decided to make a complete lifestyle change by getting her teacher’s yoga certification and moving to Central California, where she and her husband founded Blooming Energy to teach yoga and promote a healthy natural way of living.

The beginning of the event kicks off with a quick farm tour for the guests to see all the wonderful flowers Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm has to offer Santa Barbara County, after which everyone will move over to the designated yoga area behind the farmstand to begin Julia’s yoga class: be sure to bring your own mat, or purchase a ticket which includes a Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm yoga mat!

After the class is done, be sure to cool down with us as we partake in beautifully handcrafted High Tea Time put together by the Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm family. It’s sure to be a blast, tickets are going fast so be sure to sign up now! Registration closes Friday, July 7th, so be sure to get your tickets by then!

Purple Hues Brighten the Landscape!

With the summer on the horizon,Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm is permeating with purple through the sea of green!

Thanks so much to everyone who purchased tickets to our Salute To the Region Farm To Table Dinner, however folks online have been wondering if we could do the dinner later in the month, and after some introspection, Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm has decided to reschedule to July 22nd!

It’s so exciting to see all of the time and effort we have put into starting this event is bearing out so spectacularly! This will be one of the premiere Farm to Table Dinner events in the Santa Barbara County area, and everyone is sure to have a fantastic time! Don’t worry if you were wont be able to make the event that day, we have plenty of other amazing events coming up in the month of July for you to choose from!
