Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day featuring seasonal vendors, themed face painting, games, exciting rides by Luna’s Jumps, family-friendly activities, and live music. Pack a blanket or lawn chair, settle in, and enjoy the festive Halloween atmosphere with friends, neighbors, and visitors alike.
Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and join the festive costume parade through downtown! Afterward, little ghosts and goblins can trick-or-treat at participating businesses throughout Solvang.
Be sure to meet the adorable adoptable animals from the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society—you might even find your new best friend! Come celebrate the season, connect with the community, and make unforgettable fall memories in Solvang.
11:00 AM – Kids & Pets Halloween Parade & Pet Costume Contest
Bring the whole family — furry friends included — and show off your most creative, spooky, or adorable costumes as you parade through Solvang Park.
Pet Costume Contest judging will take place immediately following the parade, with awards for: Best Overall, Most Creative, Best Pet/Owner Duo, Funniest, and Most Scary hosted by Therapy Dogs of America.
